Why don't the Republicans want to stay and make sure the right thing is done? Your Repubs are more interested in vacationing on tax payers' $$$!

Don't be silly. The make up of Congress will change next year because the American people are unhappy with the way things are going. The merry band of morons currently in Congress are not the folks the American people have any faith in. They ought to recognize that fact and not break anything before the adults take their seats in January.

Smoke and mirrors.

Reid conjured up a distraction to pass controversial bills.

You mean like the start treaty supported by 73% of Americans in which Demint and Kyl were trying to stall

http://i2.cdn.turner.com/cnn/2010/im.../16/rel16d.pdf

Demint has called off his latest stall tactic so we will see if that impacts when they are finished.

Reid to Republicans: Quit whining about working this holiday! - Yahoo! News (http://news.yahoo.com/s/yblog_theticket/reid-to-republicans-quit-whining-about-working-this-holiday - broken link)

What a bunch of lazy, crybaby, do-nothing, time-wasting, load of blood suckers. Keep your fat azz in D.C. until the job is complete. They earn six figures, but complain if they have to stay and work.
So, the Democrat controlled Senate, under Harry Reid, failed to pass a balanced budget all year long; and, he accuses the minority Republicans of being lazy and not getting the job done? LOL, spin baby, spin. Hope and change and the shove it through at the last minute modus operandi of the Progressive liberal left.

Perhaps Harry hasn't read the Constitution as to where his bill should have originated, that is, under the rule of law.

Article 1, Sec. 7.

Reid is a sanctimonious (insert explicative here)!

Exactly!!

But the problem is, the morons realize they have been kicked out of power so they are using every last ditch effort they have to pass their unwanted policies. So shameful!

Yeah, like the start treaty, the Dream act etc. Other than passing the Omnibus resolution and tax package, they should do nothing and wait for the adults to arrive.

The Dream Act probably won't come up (its been tabled), it does have majority support by the way.

The Start Treaty has OVERWHELMING support from the American public.

So? are we now to govern by polls? If so should we repeal Obamacare?

Well polls on the health care bill are split on repeal, this is about 73-15.

Putting that aside, fact is we have time to debate the bill and pass it now. Lets stop the silly games of delay tactics (which is what Demint was trying to do since he likely realizes the numbers aren't in his favor) and get to work.
