Putting that aside, fact is we have time to debate the bill and pass it now. Lets stop the silly games of delay tactics (which is what Demint was trying to do since he likely realizes the numbers aren't in his favor) and get to work.
Polls are not split on Obamacare, the majority of American's are against it.

No, controversial issues that are not critical should be delayed, as has been tradition.

Polls on whether or not it should be repealed is split. The exit polls (which consisted of the stronger GOP turnout that led to the GOP gains) was 46-47% on repeal.

I can understand the labeling of the Dream Act as controversial, but the Start Treaty certainly isn't controversial.

There is absoutly no reason to keep funding a failed policy, with even more pork for the right to the tune of 900 billion dollars. If you support massive spending, keep supporting the right.
You think that the economic collapse was caused primarily because of the wars?

Therefore the Republicans just want to vacation on our tax $$$?

Reid is not, and will never, try to actually take money from the 'rich' and give it to you like he, and other demoRATS, keep telling you they will. Reality is coming soon....wake up, get a JOB and stop blaming the Republicans for all your problems.

Save it the wittle sheeple been drinking way too much spiked kool-aid. They will never get Reid and his merry band of Thieves! They will not take off their rose tinted glasses, nor will they come out of their glass Houses. Reality needs to kick some in the butt in both parties, the way i see it lately, neither party gives a damn, and you won't convince me otherwise, economy still in the dump, job losses still happening, people still losing their homes, and the twirps on both sides, play games with our Future.

And to think they did not work through last weekend. Why not?

Come on folks, Harry has had 4 years to get something done and all of a sudden he is acting like he was to dig in and work.

The only thing Harry wants to do is pork us with his massive end of the year spending spree and everyone knows it.

Harry the Pork Bellied Pig is trying to steal our money folks.

He has ZERO interest in anything else but loading up his corporate friends and land owners withe some liberal pork chops.

Why work the weekend now Harry?

4 years of doing nothing caught up with you?

Scuttling his 1.1 trillion dollar omnibill (which is just code for "we're making a huge bill full of giveaways that has no chance of passing so we can claim in 2012 that we tried to give you, the voters, all sorts of free stuff!") is simple: Just find the junior most Senator, and force him to come in over the holidays. All he has to do is stand up and say "I filibuster", and that's the end of it.

Everyone else go home. Problem solved.

You really need to look at vacations the dems took on us over the last 4 years.

Dirty Harry did not complain this time last year when HE SHUT DOWN congress a week early to go on vacation.

Now that his party got their butts handed to them he wants to work?

Work on what? More spending?

Oh shucks, I forgot they were working on scamming the American people by working on the unlawful HC bill.

Thanks for reminding us that he was working like most Americans on Christmas Eve and what they were working on.
