That's her. I'm jumping out of the closet in my red devil suit while saying, "Call me Bruce!"
Apparently there are a lot of people "stuck on gays" otherwise there wouldn't be so much time and money spent on fear-mongering propaganda campaigns against them. How many groups exist purely to spread misinformation and basically defecate on gays. How many pulpits are used to spread hate and fear of gays? How many websites are there that are chock full of myths vilifying gays?

People's sex lives has nothing to do with their political positions. If you think that, you have had very little exposure to a variety of people.
Why do people care what others do behind closed doors? It just boggles my mind....
Easy. Because they think indulging in sodomy is NOT the right thing to do because doing so goes against God's will, and so want to do something to help out their fellow man, so he or she won't go to hell.

In which case they need to learn several things:
1. Not everyone shares their religious beliefs.
2. The fact that not everyone shares their religious beliefs does not affect their life in any way.
3. If something doesn't affect their life, they need to keep their noses out of other's business.
I don't think it is the most polerizing issues. I think abortion probably is the #1. The coming debate over entitlement program reform (medicare, medicaid, and social security) will probably become the most polerizing issues in 2011 when we will have to deal with it because of the huge crushing debt it is placing on our country.

Somehow I doubt that their motives are altruistic.
People who get all uptight about what others do in the bedroom are usually closeted themselves, have deep seated sexual issues or are just busybodies.
Also, why is it the ones screaming the loudest about homosexuality or porn or pre-marital sex are usually the ones that always get caught in the scandals? They are always caught having affairs, having gay sex in airport bathrooms or frequenting prostitutes.
Larry Craig, Ted Haggard, Jimmy Swaggart, Mark Sanford, Jim Bakker, Newt Gingrich and on and on. Without fail, the people that get busted "with their pants down" are inevitably the loudest Bible thumpers of the lot. Don't get me wrong, the dems have plenty of guys who haven't been able to keep it in their pants (Clinton, Hart, Condit, the ENTIRE Kennedy family) but they don't come off as hypocritical so it isn't as fun to watch them crash and burn.
