If the school that refused Jared Loughner re-admission had the resources to have him seek psychiatric or medical attention, this horroific tragedy could have been avoided.
Or if there were more medical background screening, there could have been preventative measures taken that would have prevented Jared Loughner from buying a gun and purchasing ammunition at a local Wal-Mart.

Huge assumption on the part of the OP with nothing to back it up.
I thought Wal-Mart refused to sell ammo to the guy charged with murder. He did not purchase the gun at Wal-Mart either he bought it at a national chain sporting good store. Get your facts straight!

How about if Jared Loughner's mother had aborted him? The US covers those right?
