That is, humouring your premise, which is on its face facile. Black people aren't immigrants and have an entirely different set of historical circumstances, and people who speak no English here aren't typically legal immigrants. Our actual immigrants are quite well acclimated into our multicultural society. Ditto for Canada.

That is REALLY funny because BOTH countries will see negative population growth and aging populations in the coming decades that will have a negative impact on their economic growth. In fact Korean men in rural areas are now actively seeking out women from Viet Nam, the Phillipines, Mongolia and other parts of Asia because rural men are no longer looked upon as desireable mates by a substantial number of Korean women many which are highly educated learn in urban centers and have professional jobs. The population of Korea will get MUCH MORE DIVERSE IN THE NEXT 10 TO 20 YEARS.

It's also successful in Canada, Singapore, Malyasia, Indoneisa, and one of the biggest emerging market economies in the world is Brazil. It would be ridiculous to say these countries haven't experienced problems but for the most part people live side by side in harmony.
Which is ultimately a good thing, if the western nations weren't so "tolerant" they wouldn't have all of these problems, westerners tolerate crime, westerners tolerate gayness and other deviant behaviors, westerners tolerate 3rd world foreigners doing whatever they want to do in the western countries, westerners tolerate their governments abusing them with stupid policies, etc. when you look at it, "tolerance" is at the root of most of the problems westerners face today, before it started becoming "tolerant" (which is just another word for degenerate), the west dominated the world, now when it is becoming all the more "tolerant", the non-"tolerant" nations (China, South Korea, Japan, etc.) are taking over.
No one is "scared" of multiculturalism, they are merely saying that it is unhealthy for America. It will do nothing but divide us, it has done nothing to unite us. It has done nothing to make us more economically prosperous. It has done nothing to eliminate racism or discrimination. It hasn't helped anyone at all.
That's funny because nobody was worried about racial segregation dividing people, or putting people on indian reservations, or Jim Crow Laws or laws like the Chinese Exclusion Act dividing us. But all of a suddent there is a surge of growth in the minority population and people mostly, White Americans, are running around screaming about multiculturaism being the death knell of America.
The reality is that days of White people being a majority in America will come to end in the next 20 or 30 years.

About 43% of the people in grades K-12 are not White Americans.
The year 2009 marked the first year in this country that the majority of babies born in the United States were not White Americans.
Asians, Pacific Islanders, Latinos and Blacks constituted 80% of the population growth in the United States from 2000 to 2010.
America is going to be a multiethnic, multicultural, multiracial country. There isn't a damn thing you can do about it so you might as well learn how to live with it.

HONG KONG: Asian men from rich countries such as Japan and South Korea are increasingly seeking brides from poorer ones like Vietnam and the Philippines - as economically liberated local women get picky.
The news comes a week after government statistics showed a similar trend in Singapore.
The National Population Secretariat said that marriages between citizens and non-citizens made up 40.8 per cent of unions last year, up from 30.7 per cent in 1999.
The vast majority of these, 78 per cent, were between Singaporean grooms and foreign brides, most of them Asians.

In Japan, marriages between Japanese men and foreign women shot up 73 per cent between 1995 and 2006, to 35,993, according to the latest government survey. Most of the women were Filipinas, followed by Chinese.
'Asian brides - notably Chinese and Filipina - remain popular in the countryside, where it's quite hard to find young women,' said Mr Toshio Esaka, president of dating agency Royal in Osaka, western Japan.
'But nowadays, it's getting harder even downtown as a lot of young Japanese women are economically independent and prefer to remain single.'
In South Korea, more than 35 per cent of fishermen and farmers who married in the 12 months to May last year took foreign brides, mainly from China and Vietnam, government statistics show.
Both examples point to the role of cash and lifestyle in Cupid's quiver - it is mainly the less marketable men in the richer countries who look abroad for a wife when they cannot find one at home.
