Whether it be the cartels or actual Mexican soldiers, is anyone thinking of what would have happened had they NOT decided to turn around?

They would have been stopped. Duh....

Do you always live in such fear of things that didn't or don't occur?

yep, i have. either:

A): they would have been turned around at customs unless they were on official business with proper documents.

or

B): they would have shot their way thru CBP and the surviving of the 12 guys, and the truck, would have gone on a rampaging campaign of terror to conquer a nation of 330 million with the strongest military force in the world.

They certainly have a more competent Army than Mexico does.

So yeah... as threats go, they would be the bigger one.

Fascinating how you in one breath call it "the same thing" and in the next describe two radically different things.

Do you have any idea how completely clueless that sounds?

But no other country would feed them and make their people press one for English
So... you really don't think the US is special after all?

You think we should be more like... who? Cuba? Denmark? Burkina Faso?

Only those who are also idiotic enough to believe that they intended to cross the border in the first place.

its a war, that is draining our nation and you can stick your head in the sand and say no its not, but that does not make your opinion any more important than mine. If you are right and its not a war why do we have immigration laws. If I'm right and it is a war then we need to start enforcing the laws
