Commentary: Koch brothers and the union-busting Kansas House | McClatchy

Republicans are definitely sticking it to the middle class people. IMO they are cutting their throats down the line. There will always be another election.

Only union workers are middle class?

No, but unions stand for what benefits the middle class. It gives them the voice against the ruling elite (or as Adam Smith called... "the masters"). Without such support, the middle class wouldn't only shrink but will eventually disappear.

Yeah ok, that is a complete and utter conspiracy theory with no facts AT ALL to back it up. So are saying that if there were no unions that all the federal labor laws will just disappear in thin air?

Wrong narrative. Let's take a look at the reality of the situation...

Gallup reports that 71% of Americans don't want to pay more taxes.

How do the public employee unions reconcile that with their expectation to be able to demand more from the taxpayers?

I've seen you ask this question multiple times and you have yet to get an answer. I don't think they have an answer that won't reveal their true agenda.

It would seem to me that with the ugliness displayed the unions are harming the middle class more than they are helping it. It is partly because of unions that jobs have been leaving US shores for less expensive labor abroad. Thusly, unions have largely contributed to the decline of the middle class more than any other group weilding significant political power.

It is obvious tha this thead is just another one of the manny talking points George Soros's Move-on & Media Matters along with Trumpka's AFL-CIO have Progressive brown shirted minions to spread across the net.

Meh......Yawn

If unions want to take over Kansas, Missouri will, as a right to work state, take those jobs. We might win that age-old border war afterall.

The true agenda? Do you mean their money laundering machine where union dues, originating from public sector unionized employees paid with taxpayer dollars, get used to prop up and fund Democrats? That true agenda?

It has been proven in right to work states that when employees have the choice whether or not to join a union that union membership drops dramatically. The drop in membership dues income means that unions can give less to the democrats and lose their strong-arming power.

You would like to believe so. Take NAFTA for example. Do you think it has hurt the middle class?

It is ridiculously stupid to blame unions for jobs going overseas. For that matter, virtually every country the jobs are being moved to have strong union presence. But I don't expect you to know that either.

How about non-union jobs moving overseas? Never happened, never would happen, right? Get a clue before you start pointing fingers shamelessly.

That's because to do so would force them to admit that they're in a no-win situation of their own making.

I'd still like to see them answer it, anyway.

Step right up...
