More tin foil might be necessary.

That's true. When you start shutting people out, you know you're in trouble.

and you said again, right here...it's their JOB to walk out....

The relationship between the unions and the Democratic party has always been obvious. And the relationship between the corporations and the Republican party has been equally so. And especially with last year's election financing decision by the SCOTUS, those two constituencies have become even more important to the parties. So of course the whole genuine issue here is the Republicans trying to weaken the Democrats by busting one of their core constituencies and depriving them of funding at the same time theirs has just been put on steroids.

It has never been about the Wisconsin state budget. It is right wing politics at its most cynical.

It remains fascinating to me how easily the Republican rank and file can be mobilized against their own interests.

Huh?

Am I the only one here who suddenly thinks you've wandered into the wrong universe?
I put the entier quote so everyone could read and it...so you could not come back and say I only quoted what I wanted to.....

So please tell us which it is....tourism or their job?

Or again, are you double talking?

Um... the capitol had to be closed for a brief period because of the fire, safety, and public health threats the protestors have caused. Hours of operation and number of people admitted are also restricted now for the same reasons.

Earlier Friday, a flier was distributed to police patrolling the building saying that "soft items" were to be removed beginning at 4 p.m. Among the items to be removed were tables, folding chairs, large boxes, mattresses, food, coolers, extension cords, easels and slow cookers and other cooking appliances. The flier also stated that "animals/snakes (exception: service animals)" were banned.
Wisconsin Capitol protesters have to leave Sunday - JSOnline

Apparently, among all of the other things listed above, the protestors also have animals and snakes in the capitol.

Looks like the Senate is not budging;

GOP leader meets with Dems boycotting Senate - JSOnline

Quote:
Madison -- The leader of the state Senate met Monday with some Senate Democrats who left Wisconsin Feb. 17 to prevent passage of a budget-repair bill that takes away collective bargaining rights from most public workers.

Fitzgerald was clear with Democrats he would not negotiate with them on the bill and would not allow the bill to be amended now that it has passed the GOP-controlled Assembly, Welhouse said.
Should have had the state troopers waiting in the wings to snag a couple of the anarchy-loving democrats.
