I don't want anything to do with your religion.

So...What would Jesus cut?
The Repubs are on a cutting spree and by the time they are done they will have all sorts of different groups really PO'ed at them, includng a lot of Republicans. By the time 2012 rolls around they will be hard pressed to hold on to thier gains in 2010 and will not have a snowballs chance in hell of winning either the Senate or Whitehouse. Good work teabaggers, you are the best thing to happen to the Democrats since Dubya.

If we'd stop flushing billions and billions of dollars down the drain known as the Middle East year after year we might not be in such a terrible position.

Next we need to address our trade deficit which is a millstone around our collective necks. A 6.1 trillion dollar millstone by the way. One way to do this is to end globalization and bring jobs back to American soil. Of course the corporate fat cats will never allow that to happen as it would cut too deep into their exorbitant profit margins. Why pay an American 15 bucks an hour, 40 hours a week to make trinkets when you can simply send that job to the other side of the globe and pay a slave laborer 50 cents an hour 100 hours a week?

So we import just about everything and have the exports of a third world nation, yet we assured the "global economy" is in our best interest. Jobs are leaving and never coming back, inflation is skyrocketing, oil and gas prices are shooting the roofs and we blame the economic downturn and budget problems on the poor? We're being sold down the river by fat cats and their politician enablers and we're blaming the poor. Amazing.

Just ended two years of unchecked Democrat rule. So what was done to end NAFTA and unconditional free trade with China? You want to cut ties with the Middle-east, shall we begin drilling for our own oil again? Can we finally end ethanol subsidies and mandates that are driving food costs through the roof? How about we stop monetizing our debt and restore the value of the dollar before gas hits $5/gal. If you want manufacturing to return to the US, how about we stop over taxing and over regulating business so those who want to be here aren't forced by international competition to leave the US or face bankruptcy.

I don't give two ****s about the Democrats lady, I can't stand either party as they are bull full of it. Yes, I want us to drill for our own oil and explore alternative fuel sources. Yes let's end ethanol subsidies and all of that craziness. I also want us to get our debt in order, I'm for all of that. However on your last point I must depart from your line of thought.

I'm sorry but you're making corporations out to be helpless victims again, and you make it seem like they're running from persecution. These bastards aren't leaving the country because of "over regulation," unless you consider a 40 hour work week, minimum wage, safety and health standards, paying over time, and health care to be over regulation. Because they're scurrying away from this country so they can trot to the third world and set up slave labor.

Why pay an "expensive" America 10 bucks an hour when you can cruise to South America and pay a man 10 cents an hour? Oh yeah, and you don't have to pay any overtime, you don't have to provide health care, there are no safety regulations, no "socialist" government to stick their noses in your business so you are free to treat your slaves...eh I mean employees worse than dogs. So please, stop making these disgusting pigs out to be noble crusaders just leaving to make an honest living.

The rich ($250,000 or more per year) should pay at least 70% in income taxes. I'd say 95% for those making more than $50 million per year.

Actually, Christ doesn't get into government too much. He said "My kingdom is not of this world". He also advocated personal charity. Sometimes the best way to do that is to give money.

It's sad that people will read this garbage and assume that all evangelicals feel that way. We don't. We are not represented by some yahoo that claims to speak for us.

Is this what your leader Jesus says?
