Origin of DENIGRATE

Latin denigratus, past participle of denigrare, from de- + nigrare to blacken, from nigr-, niger black First Known Use: 1526
So sorry you had to search for something to be offended by.
I've provided the current definition, not so offensive to you, but still pertinent:

denigrate - definition of denigrate by the Free Online Dictionary, Thesaurus and Encyclopedia.
den·i·grate (dn-grt)
tr.v. den·i·grat·ed, den·i·grat·ing, den·i·grates
1. To attack the character or reputation of; speak ill of; defame.
2. To disparage; belittle: The critics have denigrated our efforts.

Are you saying that you didn't denigrate others?

First thing I thought of. How scary if we have incompetents via affirmative action in our top brass positions.

The Military has had some form of AA for DECADES! At least 40 years, if not longer.

No, I don't denigrate anyone. I am a youth baseball coach.
I have an Asian, Hispanic, two A Americans and eight White
kids on my team. Don't care what color, creed, religion, just
if they can hit a fastball. What about you? What do you do
for fellow man, except hate everyone and argue everything?

I'm put off by the crazy idea that people excel in all areas equal to their representative numbers based on skin color or genitals. Who determined this?

It is indeed a crazy idea. The people who determined that everything should have perfect racial numbers predominately are on one side of the political spectrum.(it's pretty obvious which side does it)

Nope. We had the draft from 1939 until it was suspended in 1975, and Affirmative Action did not exist until the 1960s. Ford was President at the time the draft was suspended in April of 1975, but did nothing to change the military. It would not be until Carter became President in 1977, with a Democrat controlled Congress supporting him, before Affirmative Action was put into practice in the military, putting our troops at even greater risk.
