The democrats aren't really liberal. They're moderate. Especially given the extreme right wingers dragging this country further to the right.

Thats why half the dem policies currently under fire are really just rehashed republican ideas from the 90s.

True. However, this clearly shows why liberals fail to appreciate that essentially every media source, with the exception of a few, have a far left liberal bias. Given that they themselves are liberal, the leftists views promoted by these media sources appears to be "mainstream". Few think of themselves as extremists and sincerely believe, regardless of position, that they are "middle of the road" and "normal". The nation as a whole has moved far to the left since the 1960s and what was considered "liberal" in the 1960s is now considered to be a "far right" perspective. Kennedy today would be considered to be a "right winger" today. At the time, he was considered very liberal.

Earth to Dopo!

I recall the abc host, when asked about the tea party rally claimed ignorance, said he was on vacation. That was the day the networks, print and several cable news programs died. Absolutely no coverage of the tea parties unlessit was to paint them as racists. that strategy was revealed in a a series of emails several 'journalists' suggested using.

There are no conservative network programs. The news media became Obama's propaganda machine.

The media you speak of as well as other media formats do their best to erase Obama's reversals and flubbs to create an impression of a new dawn whenever he speaks.

Issues the old NY Times and the media as a whole would jump on are intentionally ignored.

Would love to see the media create a show that features, Obama, 'Yesterday and Today'. Stunning absolutely stunning how the man seems to exist only in the present.

The media of which you speak has created a myth that Obama is some gifted orator. The media loved that Obama received a Nobel Peace Prize for no demonstrated accomplishment. And they tried their best to justify it.

The preponderance of facts that the media is a propaganda arm of the Dems and Obama cannot be mitigated by having a Rep senator on the show.

Unions that conscript money from members to cary on a political agenda the members may not be aligned with, are comparable to corporations and financiers. Obama's treasury dept is made up of Goldman Sachs alums. All who surrounds himself with are avowed socialists and communists. How did the media miss that one!

And remember, it's not just how your report something, but what you choose not to report.

The media all but elected Obama...I can remember all these things that were never said or covered about McCain...

In any case, I don't care if the media is liberal or not (but they are)...I hate all media because it's not journalism anymore. It's drama-filled, ratings-driven stupid malarkey...no matter which channel you're watching. All they are about is manipulating YOUR emotions in order to drive various agendas.
I turned off the TV more than a decade ago, and have never missed it. Sometimes, I turn it on, for noise and yep, it's a bunch of crap and off it goes again. Think I've watched an hour of TV since December.

your almost there

true democrats and republicans are moderate... moderate left and moderate right, respectively

liberals are further left..cons further right

neo-cons are liberals, with a religios twist...ie social con, but financial libs

then you have the extreme right reliogious nuts

then you have the extreme left socialists/fascists

- Everytime they talk about the President they say something like "Let's see if he knows how to handle this?"
- Every morning they interview a republican senator as if they are a neutral political player.

Now, can somebody seriously tell me how the media is liberal?

Yeah right, the first thing I saw and which told me all I need to know

How the Media Vote. Surveys of journalists’ self-reported voting habits show them backing the Democratic candidate in every presidential election since 1964,

So what??? We supposed to control how they vote now? That doesn't mean they're biased. It means they voted
