Personally I'm an independent conservative and IMHO the Republican Party has in recent years moved so far to the left that they've become almost indistinguishable from the Democrat Party. As the Democrat Party has embraced the radical Communist left, the Republican Party has moved further and further to the left such that the Republican Party of today is at least if not more liberal than the Democrat Party of yesteryear. Both parties have strayed so much from the founding principles of this country that they would both be unrecognizable to their respective founders if they could see them today.

I approve of the Republican party but its congressional leadership is definitely not conservative enough.

Far too radically right. If the republicans ever want to actually get things done, they need to shift back to the center or end up going down with the tea party.

Too "liberal" on fiscal policies. They are talking about 60 billion in cuts on a budget thats over a trillion dollars in the red every year. Cowards. Meaningful cuts are needed.
