there is sound political reasoning for doing this.

obama pushes his re-election message to national action network who will be on the ground for him getting out the vote in 2012.

obama will need that ground game to win in 12. national action network will go to the hood, will go to harlem and get those people to the voting booth.
why do you suppose obama avoided al and jesse like the plague during his 2008 run?

Wow. So is he that worried about the black turn out that he has to stoop to the level of the wannabe Reverand Sharpton?

What's a matter Barak, all those people who were dumb enough to believe you were going to pay their mortgage and just rain down money and sunshine on their lives finally realize it aint going to happen?

Like the OP says, these two belong together. It doesnt shock me. Two men that have done plenty of damage to our country might as well get together once in a while. Not like its going to be widely reported on or that he'll be taken to task for it anyways.

Excellent leadership from our American Idol President once again.

The Duke lacrosse students who were subjugated to Sharpton's violent, racist rhetoric for months and whose lives were nearly destroyed by his vicious lies, are still waiting for his apology.

Talk about "Behaving stupidly"!

President Obama looks to Rev. Al Sharpton for help in 2012 reelection bid

So, to prove we are not a racist country, we elected a Multi-Racial, Anti-American, Anti-Capitalist, Anti-Israel, Anti-White Pres. Was it worth it?

I see it the same as past Presidents sitting and clapping in black churches. The look on their faces...priceless. Once, he's elected the blacks won't see him again. Well, until election time.

Trying to drum up the black vote. He asked for help. Sharpton isn't on the payroll.

Absolutely worth it!

POTUS YAY!

Obama has an activist background. What better way to rouse the voting block then to bring in another activist ? Stir up them emotions and promise them the world.

Ok, y'all, stop. Black people didn't vote for Obama b/c of his ancestry. They voted for him b/c they didn't want McCain/Palin to win.

Obama hires race-baiting hate mongerer Al Sharpton to help with 2012 re-election
Well, he's probably thinking since the black community has received the short end of the stick since obama's been in office, since the black community has been hurt as much or more than any other group, he probably needs a go-between to convince the masses to stick with him.

If only the predictable 90% comes out to vote for him, that might not be enough.
