did you even read the new york post article about why obama is working with sharpton, or did you just jump up and down and get all excited when you saw sharpton and obama in the same sentence.
there is sound political reasoning for doing this.
obama pushes his re-election message to national action network who will be on the ground for him getting out the vote in 2012.
obama will need that ground game to win in 12. national action network will go to the hood, will go to harlem and get those people to the voting booth.
why do you suppose obama avoided al and jesse like the plague during his 2008 run?

Like the OP says, these two belong together. It doesnt shock me. Two men that have done plenty of damage to our country might as well get together once in a while. Not like its going to be widely reported on or that he'll be taken to task for it anyways.

Well, he's probably thinking since the black community has received the short end of the stick since obama's been in office, since the black community has been hurt as much or more than any other group, he probably needs a go-between to convince the masses to stick with him.
If only the predictable 90% comes out to vote for him, that might not be enough.
