Obama turned out be fairly major failure and I am sorry that I voted for him. The tea party people haven't done much either. And yes I have votes for tea party candidates (Debra Medina), libertarians and 3rd party types before.

I have realized recently Republicans, Democrats, or anyone else make a big mess out of anything. I sincerely can't think of any major problem they have managed to solve in last 8 years. The politicians just make nice promises to get votes and then turn to lobbyist to become rich it seems.

I really do think I have wasting my time to go out and vote. Instead of looking to government to fix anything, I just except them to make it worse or do nothing. Next election maybe I will try ignore them and skip voting, that may make me feel better!
I think your youth is showing right now: What would you expect the Tea Party to do, they are a group of citizens, protesting and trying to get more conservative, smaller government people elected. They didn't come on the scene until about 3 years ago, that isn't time to get too much done?

Do you realize how many years it takes to turn things around?

What do you mean, the elected politicians turn to lobbyists to get rich? That statement doesn't make too much sense. And last, but not least, how badly have you, personally been affected by the lack of accomplishments you were hoping Obama or the Tea Party or someone else could make happen?

As Roadking2003 and the unbrainwashed and a few others said.... vote Libertarian! We as Americans CANNOT afford to be sucked into the spin and "voting for the lesser of two evils" anymore!

Yes, follow the Libertarian trail, which includes Ron Paul. He runs as a Republican but initially elected in Texas as a Libertarian. I said earlier that I vote more conservative for federal elections. Actually for Prez, I haven't voted Rep or Dem since Gerald Ford. I do vote for Ron Paul and other Libertarian candidates.

I think we each feel this way, no matter the party we are affiliated with ha. Both have been more then dellisional with us. Hate to say it this way, but either party comes guilt-free in doing what is right and just for us Americans. When we vote and this is scary it is almost as if we vote the lesser of 2 evils. We can protect our party of choice all we want, but in all actuality does are party of choice really give a damn about us.

This is nothing new.

Campaign "finance reform" is like lipstick on a pig. It has not changed anything.

We should totally eliminate all campaign financing laws.
Wrong.

We did have some limits.

It is much worse now and going to get even more stupid.

Now we do not know is giving who a whole lot of the money.

Do not be conned.

Never give up any right to vote.

Limiting the size and scope of government would cut way down on the influence peddling our crooks in government are able to pull off.
