They won't confirm it like they didn't in 2001 when he was really killed, unless they want the wars to be over. That's what this is all about. OBL has been dead for quite some time and we weren't told because they wanted the wars to continue. Now it is time to end them so there is no more reason for us to think OBL is still alive. That's my opinion and I'm sticking to it.
What it did do was made questioning the war harder. I've long been a advocate of getting out of all these wars, and focusing on the home front, but I can just hear the arguments against my logic already. Let's not forget that our interventionist foreign policy hurts our national security tremendously.
