This is as shocking as Al and Tipper Gore separating.
I just don't see the end of ANYBODY'S marriage as shocking anymore. Nobody REALLY knows what goes on behind closed doors except the people involved in a relationship. Just because you see somebody on TV or read about them in the media doesn't mean you know a damn thing about them or their personal lives.
I just heard on the radio, and on the L. A. Times website, that the real reason for the split has been revealed: Maria recently found out that the Gropinator has been hiding something: a love child he fathered with another woman. Apparently this happened more than 10 years ago. The woman was a Schwarzenegger household employee who recently retired after 20 years with the family.

I always thought they were an odd couple. Actually surprised it lasted
this long. Maria seemed to have a glow when he was governor. Now -
not so much. No surprise here IMO
