Again and again. Big government telling us how to live our lives. It won't stop until we are all "Stepford Wives".

This is worse than smoking bans. It's embarrassing to watch these dolts on the city council .....

Guess what you clods???? If you don't want to see half naked women, STAY AWAY FROM THE SHOP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's California. The state has a right to make it's own laws. We need to respect that.
The beauty of the US is that we are a nation of states and we vary in our laws and beliefs.

I have no problem with states' rights. It's the strongarm of the Fed dictating to states that I have issues with.

The people of a state have every right to determine the laws of their states.

Yes, they have that right.

But Big Government is oppressive regardless of where it occurs...Federal, state or local.

These people are idiots, but I guess if you have to have idiots making laws, it's better that they are local than Federal. That way they can only oppress the local citizens.

I keep hearing this Socialist nonsense about California and especially San Francisco. I lived in San Francissco for a decade and it was like living in the 1950's. No WALMARTS or Big Box stores, the Super Markets couldn't even make it. Mom and Pop stores walking distance from home by the thousands. Nowhere I have ever lived was such a friendly environment to small family owned walk up stores. My wife and I used to laugh about the car sitting in the garage for weeks and the refrigerator being half empty because there were plenty of good take outs within walking distance.

Is it socialism to support mom and pop stores and "Capitalism" to suppot WALMART where half of the employees children get government funded Health Care because of the slave wages while the Ferengi who count the profits are 4 of the 10 richest people ?

Almost every day, I see something new that reaffirms my decision to leave that state.

This is a local law, but it's indicative of how people think in California. They want to control every aspect of your life, from birth to death.

One thing worth noting is that Democrats and/or 'the left' are constantly charging Republicans and/or 'the right' with trying to "legislate morality." Well, guys, what's this? There couldn't be a more blatant case.

It wouldn't matter. To many, their version of the constitution is written on stone. And much of it places states' rights above people's. No?

I don't think socialism has anything to do with Walmarts and take outs within walking distance.

You can have socialism with our without Walmart.
