Um. that has nothing to do with my OP.

you keep adding conditions to your premise, you started out asking a simple question and when you don't like the answers you start the dodge, how about you just fess up and move on. You're WRONG.

FYI, my dad made enough to survive. So did I, we BOTH profited from our businesses, quit being ridiculous.

Please answer my questions. Did your Dad pay payroll taxes? Did he offer benefits to employees?

what don't you believe? that the Dems didn't control congress most of the time or what I said?

All 100% true, trying to find fault with my dad's story isn't going to be fruitful. My dad is a smart man missing fingers, he had to work twice as hard to do as well as most people. be had to employ people to do the things he couldn't do.

No way could someone be poor and create jobs for more then one person let alone others.

He was losing money or he was using SOMEONE ELSES money.

Been there done that and not going to happen.

Question for you:

What was his annual income if he was poor? Please tell.
He once said his expenses were $10,000 a year and he often said he doesn't pay income taxes. I don't know any more. I do know he drives a 10 year old pick-up and has a regular stool at the Avon Lake VFW. Call them if you want more details. as for "7 fingers".

your questions have ZERO to do with whether he was poor or whether he hired people. you're wrong and just would admit it.

I've heard this talking point before. No, I haven't. But I've been employed by middle class people who, by the way, are dying out to the benefit of the rich. Thank you Republicans!

Which is what I was answering, NOT your OP. I was explaining to you that job costs are not a function of the owner's relative wealth or poverty; they are paid before the owner of a small business is paid, particularly in construction-related industry.

I'm sorry I didn't state it more clearly so that you could understand this business concept. I do hope it is clear now.
