You're exactly right. It sucks to be linked to communism and Nazism at the same time. The liberals are doing their best to lie their way out this unfavorable situation.
They're still trying to use the yin/yang perspective. "Hitler went to war with Stalin so they MUST have had separate ideologies!"
They fought over oil and land, not over ideology. Hitler also made Nazism to sound distinct from communism because the sheeple needed a scapegoat to fight against.
because ford was a big time socialist, and anti-jewish
Henry Ford was a socialist? By what definition? I'm sure he loved the idea of trade unions as well? Of government ownership of resources? But then, it was only a matter of time someone called him a commie.

Let me see if I understand the chain of logic here: Henry Ford supported the Nazis. Henry Ford was a Republican. Therefore, Republicans supported the Nazis. Is that what you're getting at?

Exactly right.
"I want everyone to keep what he has earned, subject to the principle that the
good of the community takes priority over that of the individual. But the State
should retain control; every owner should feel himself to be an agent of the State ...
The Third Reich will always retain the right to control property owners" -Adolf Hitler
Philosopher Stephen Hicks writes: "The issue about how socialist the Nazis
were is, in part, a judgment call about long-term principles and short-term
pragmatism." Hicks argues that the Nazis claimed to be more devoted
to socialism than the Soviet Bolsheviks: the Russians were preoccupied with
economics while the Nazis thought socialism should control not only
economics but breeding, religion and other intimate details of life.
"According to the simplest left-right axis, communism and socialism are usually regarded internationally as being on the left, opposite fascism and conservatism on the right."
So endeth the lesson of thought about political spectrum's from pretty much everyone else in the entire world.
oh so you are going to site a wiki opinion posted by other idiots
the FACT is left and right are used to DESCRIBE differences
liberals are left to democrats...does that make democrats rightists???
facts are the political SPECTRUM is just that and goes from ONE EXTREME .we will use the color spectrum.....white.... to the OTHER EXTREME...black... and all those 'parties' fall into the VOID of GREY MATTER in between
socialism, communism, fascism and marxisim all come from the rpogreessive movemnet which also spawned the american liberals...all VERY CLOSE TO EACH OTHER

In this discussion the fat that Hitler was socialist is more important.

If you want to use republican as a synonym for right wing, sure! But I would prefer to stick with the term... right wing.

Hitler hated socialists, and especially that Jew named Karl Marx.

Yup. The communists were much dumber in the way they tried to implement a socialized lifestyle. A blunt instrument rather than surgical precision such as the Nazis tried. Allow a token "free-market" caste to exist, dominated by a state-corporate run centralized economy. Print money...LOTS and LOTS of money. Make bartering and the black market illegal after price controls are instituted, even to the point of it being a death penalty on the spot if caught. Behind a bourgeois facade, a socialist core through and through.

But the right wing was very Ron Paul like in their foreign policy, staunchly against WW2. Staunchly against FDR pushing us towards war in Europe. Oops, sorry I threw a monkey wrench into your idea.

Yes, he hated Karl Marx but that doesn't mean he wasn't a socialist.
