some are voting for him? What percentage did he win the governor's race by? I have family and friends in Texas, every one of them support him..So, I guess it depends on who you hang out with doesn't it?

BTW: you can call him terrible, that is your right, but corrupt, you better be able to back that one up..Can you?

Kay Baily isn't credible, I bet she and her supporters would argue that.

I don't think many really care whether you would vote for him. You wouldn't vote for any Republican, you have made that clear time and time again.

Apparently he has more important things to do, like deciding if Perry, Palin or Bachmann should run.

Yeah, I can back it up. Making everyone in Texas get wind insurance, despite the fact that it only effects people on the cost? Hand out to insurance companies in return for lobbying efforts. So everyone in Texas needs to pay wind insurance to subsidize it for people living iN Galveston? That is small government right there.

Mandatory HPV vaccine. i thought Republicans were against big government? So much for personal choice. I am sure the pharmaceutical company getting the contract is real happy right now.

Perry is for sale. You lobby on his behalf you get what you want.

Corruption.

He's winning elections because the big money in Texas is behind him and Texas is still a state where the "Good Ole Boy" network is well entrenched.

Nothing more and nothing less.

If and when he's steps out on the national stage he'll be exposed , as they say in Texas "All Cattle and No Hat".

Rick Perry is basically a dumb-*ss "Good Ole Boy" with a slick hairstyle and not much else. He'll run if he can get enough money and he can get enough "Brains" around him to prop him up and stop him from looking like such an *zz.

As a Texan I will say that Rick Perry is a clown and not trustworthy. That being said, electing him as president would put a FAR more qualified person in the White House. Just look at the Texas economy vs the rest of the nation. No, its not all perfect, but with TX creating more jobs than any other state by a HUGE margin, it is clear we need to fire Obama and put somebody in place that actually gives a flying fock about creating jobs. Obama has been talking about creating jobs yet laughing when questioned about the "shovel ready" jobs the Dems were so certain the trillion dollar stimulus would create and admitting there weren't really that many shovel ready jobs. But hey, thanks for the $trillion$!!

No doubt Rick Perry as president would be another corporate controlled empty suit like Obama and Bush.
