THe CC&B bill is a sham. You introduce a bill that requires a Constitutional Amendment within 2 weeks of a deadline. This is not a serious bill. It is like an employer offering a person a job, but the requirement is that they have to be able to jump the grand canyon barefoot. They were never serious about wanting to raise the debt ceiling.

We need to completely cut them out of the equation and sane americans need to start working together to fix the problem not matter which side of the aisle that you are on.
You have no idea what you are posting about do you? You haven't even read the bill's text or you would not be posting this ignorant information.

Step 1) google the bill

Step 2) Read the bill, its fairly short.

Step 3) edit your post to reflect the truth

Step 4) Carry on.

Bulldog called your post "ignorant" and I didn't know if he was right or not. I was waiting for you to disprove him or accept his challenge. My mistake.
Apparently, that was a good call by Bulldog.

The teabaggers won't be satisfied until they get another revolution started, which of course
was their purpose in the first place.

I am right and the OP is correct. You Tpers do not want the debt ceiling raised. That is what Paul is advocating isn't it. Why give the detailed explanation that not raising the debt ceiling will have little impact if he was in fact wanting to raise the debt ceiling. HE does not want to raise the debt ceiling. He is just saying it is not necessary. Just be intellectually honest about it.

You have been studying well. (Rule #13 for those that don't want to read the entire list) Saul Alinsky's Rules for Radicals

If this is such a bad idea, why don't you argue based on the merits of the idea?
