Also, putting $$ in T-bills. At least, that is what I did.
Telling people how you invested after the fact is a red flag, meaning you wish you did it but didn't.

How soon we forget. Headlines last week- 'If we don't increase the debt, the Dow will tumble'.

Not hardly. I told everyone what I was gonna do last week.

It is all a crap shoot, anyway. No one really knows what will happen next - I just base my decisions on history and what I feel works best for my particular circumstances.

Excuse me for bothering to have a conversation w/ you guys. God. Folks seem all stressed out about what is happening and I just offered that it appeared that is what people are doing, based on what I myself had done.

b-b-b-b-b-b-ut it would've been worse. So interesting that these neo-progs have the ability to traverse to alternate realities.

If you base your decisions on history then you miss the boat. Pumpers and dumpers run the market now. HFT's pump and dump the market to shreds. Best to put it in your mattress. That's what they did in the big one and we are approaching that point now.

Looks more and more like 1929-1933 now, doesn't it? Thanks Hooverbama!

Yeah, I agree with that. My grandparents lost their assets when the market crashed in 29. They would not use banks at all after that! They literally kept cash in a can in the back yard. Really.

It's down almost 500 now. This could be 2008 all over again.
