On trading earlier today. Its down around 300 now. This hasn't happened since 1978 if I recall from an article I read yesterday. I thought the great orator was going to save the world with his big "deal" the dems hoisted upon the world? Apparently not. Now what? I can't wait for the calls of QE III and more stimulous by these complete and utter idiots.

There was a 500 point drop in one day in 1987. That amounted to almost 25% at the time.

I think it was because I didn't wear sneakers. Both sound equally plausible.

QE II is over and has been for about a month now. That month was spent in limbo and spending was tabled pretty much as the debt fiasco went on. Now with the green light on and no more money from the fed to fill the banks coffers the market tumbles. Now folks may realize why the market stayed pretty solid for so long. It was being propped up by printing up billions from the fed which isn't going on anymore.

That's too complicated and intellectual for me. I need something simple, like blaming racist TParty folks.

So it's the former president that got us into this mess - but now it's not the President's fault for making it worse.
