I make it a point to always buy from children who have a lemonade stand, (or cookies, or candy bars or popcorn), because I think it is important to foster a sense of being a successful entrepreneur. It makes me happy to see them so happy to have a customer. And the kids are always so polite and grateful. If you feel queasy about actually consuming their product, just make a donation to them of a quarter or whatever. That will make them even happier. Having a lemonade stand is a childhood rite of passage, don't you think kids need to know that earning their own money is important? That is a rhetorical question.

Yeah, never buy cookies from un-uniformed kids.

That video is very disturbing. If anything, I'm sure the lemonade sellers lost money. Ten cents for a cup of lemonade will leave them in the red. Plus, bail money. The female cop crossed the line, what an oink oink piggy.

They need good lawyers, that cop who kept grabbing the camera could be brought up on assault. Cops can't just hit people as they walk by.

Knowing that everyone has cameras helps me to feel that maybe there is a line that would be impossible for the authoritarians to cross today. I sure hope so.

There have been kids stands selling one thing or another up in our neighborhood all summer long.

Odd ain't it? The authorities can arrest kids for selling lemonade, but can't deal with illegal border crossings. I guess the kids are easier to catch.

Maybe they'll get bailed out.
