There is nothing intrinsically wrong with the USA not being the preeminent power in the world...is there?
It will simply fall like all other preeminent nations in the past,the only question is how hard the fall will be.
I'd personally like to stay the most dominant world power, yeah. But we don't need to spend 4 times what the rest of the world combined on our military to stay there.
Our constant ever changing political system and not planning for 10 years out is what has caused the market to sit on its money.
Lower military spending, get a 10 year budget plan, and the markets will respond.
Western civilization won a long time ago. Don't let something so superficial as skin color make you believe otherwise.
What western civilization did was to become decadant. It will die with us. Neither the indian nor the chinese cultures remotely resemble what western culture has morphed into.
Oh how the mighty have fallen. The US and Europe are in big time trouble economically and probably won't recover for several decades. People need to accept the fact that we're economically doomed for the next 20-30 years because of all of the complete lunacy policy makers have implemented over the past 20 to 30 years. Couple that with the fact that birth rates in 1st world western countries are declining while birth rates of individuals with Muslim or Asian background continue to be healthy and also with the fact that China will become the #1 global superpower, it may be time to put the nail in the coffin of Western culture. We're being dominated economically, proportionally, and politically.

We're in the midst of the globalization age. If the Western economy collapses, BRIC will collapse with it.
Don't even get me started on China's currency problems, their menacing real estate bubble waiting to explode, India's astronomical poverty etc.,
There can not be a superpower on earth anymore. The economy has been globalized. We're in the age of a global confederation where the picture is as gloomy as the ancient proverb but goes like this - "united we stand, united we fall"
I am unaware of any male/female imbalance in the muslim world.
Yes. When one wealthy Muslim male can buy up dozens of young "wives", concubines and sex slaves there is an imbalance.
That's one reason Muslim societies are so very unstable and they utterly depend on immigration to the West. One man having 30-40-50 offspring does not make for a stable progressive society.

Also India is the biggest English speaking nation in the world and like the USA and Canada was once a British colony. I can see India gaining because India kept what we gave up. They value literacy, they value a common language.

The gender imbalance will help China's population decline faster, which means more resources per person. That is great for them.
The Asian countries have been wise to not allow a flood of immigrants to come and take all their jobs. They believe their jobs are for their people. In America we give our underclass of poor Blacks & Whites a $1000 check per month to sit on their butts. No wonder we have to bring in Mexicans to do farming or roofing because those jobs are "too hard" compared to getting paid to sit in a recliner and watch Maury
We need to immediately stop ALL immigration and revise how we give out welfare benefits. Some people are truly disabled and deserve it, most people are defrauding the system.

India needs to value its women, otherwise any other "values" are moot.

With no one buying, and supplies increasing prices will drop. If they don't decrease supply.
In a communist country, like China, if you lower the amount of production, then the cost of the government increases exponentially. You have to provide for living for people who are no longer producing anything.
Really China will just let them die, but thats besides the point. Still, if demand for their products fall, their economy will shrink.
