But, she didn't keep her legs closed, like a good conservative should.

(and from what I read here, NO conservatives have children unless they are perfectly planned and certainly NO conservatives get abortions)

So, she must be a liberal, and maybe even a progressive or socialist!

Not a big fan of government interfering with our health choices.

This is sad state of affairs for women in Arizona. The government should stay out of womens lives. But I guess this really means that most conservatives want bigger government and want government to have more control over women. So much for thier argument of smaller government.

Oh and by the way, NO government money goes towards abortion services. That is a fact people. So stop saying you don't want your taxes paying for abortions because in reality, they don't.

Yup, you absolutely know you cannot justify the hypocrisy so immediately call the argument fallacious. Typical.

I am as bleeding heart liberal as they come, and I know of no-one "who believe in seeing how many trips they can make to the abortion clinic". Why must you make this nonsense up, just makes a person look foolish.

I can't help but think that the liberals who support unrestricted access to abortion out of one side of their mouth but support government control of the rest of our health care out of the other side of their mouth are a little schizoid. Like, jeez.....make up your mind. Either government gets in and controls ALL of our health care or they stay out of it altogether.

Wait..you are all bashing that PP will not perform abortions at 7 of its 13 clinics yet reports say abortion is the least service performed at PP.

Make up your minds here...is PP that important for abortions or OTHER types of women's health ?
It seems that PP's priorities change depending on the issue.

Children need parental permission to get a tattoo, to get ear piercings, why not abortions?

arizona is NOT restricting abortions, or who gets them. all they are doing is requiring that minors have adult permission to get an abortion, and that adult women get told everything about abortion, and have alternatives presented to them before they decide to abort a fetus. and while i am against abortion, and against excessive government regulation, this is a sensible approach.

really? NO government money is being used to pay for abortions? can you prove this? if you say you can i will tell you that unless EVERY planned parenthood office, or any other medical clinic that provides abortion services, separates the money they get from the government from all the other money they get, you are lying through your teeth because money is fungible, and thus there is no way to trace where the money that pays for abortion procedures comes from once it all goes into the checking account.

The law will now go into effect and it makes it so Arizona will require a notarized parental signature before an abortion can be performed on a minor child, women will be provided with full and accurate information by a doctor in person at least 24 hours before an abortion, medical professionals cannot be forced to perform abortions if it contradicts their sincerely held religious or moral beliefs and non-doctors will not be permitted by law to perform surgical abortions.
These are unreasonable to some of you?

Kids can't even take a friggin aspirin in school without a doctors note - but an abortion is A-Okay.

This is emblematic of how sick and twisted the abortion on demand fanatics have become.

Good for the state and the court for upholding common sense, reasonable rules for abortions.

The U.S. Supreme Court has repeatedly upheld 24-hour waiting periods, and multiple polls have found overwhelming public support for protections like those included in Arizona’s act.
Again, the Left/pro-abortionists on the wrong side of the issue.
