The cult of "global warming" is an academic embarrassment and is far from good science as one can get. However, to the ill informed, it is taken as gospel truth. How many papers have you published? Have you had any training in ANY scientific endeavor? Have you had any training in statistics? Have you reviewed papers for publication in ANY journal? Then, one may ask, how the hell do you think you know what you are talking about?????????

These "armchair scientists" simply look ridiculous by embracing a fanciful, unproven notion of global warming, despite the science. The problem is that they do not even realize how wrong they are.
Yeah, yeah, but behind the bluster where's the meat? Show us what you've got... er that probably didn't come out as I meant it to!

I'm a lot of time zones (and probably a couple of decades) ahead of you so I'm off to bed now.

Cheers.

Turbo, I respect your efforts, but this group is made up of flat earthers. If you heard the 24/7 propaganda disputing scientific research, coupled with the Dumbing Down of America, you'd understand why these people are so brainwashed and clueless.

Kudo's for your efforts though!

A disruption in weather patterns has been taking place ever since this....

....ended 12,000 years ago.

You seem to have an extremely difficult time grasping the concept of "Inter-Glacial Period."

It's supposed to warm up.

I like how you completely ignore the fact that the Earth is approaching Perigee to the Sun. That means the Earth will be closer to the Sun than it ever has been in recorded history.

Remember, Earth's orbit isn't circular; it's elliptical. 95 Million miles is the average distance between the Earth and the Sun, why, because the Earth's orbit is elliptical and it drifts in its orbit, moving from apogee (farthest point from the Sun) to perigee (closest point to the Sun) over a period of ~100,000 years.

Because the Earth is closer to the Sun, it absorbs more solar radiation, right? In fact, 6% more. Sometime between December 21 and January 21, Earth will reach perigee and then start moving away from the Sun very slowly over several thousand years, and in probably less than a 1,000 years, you'll be well on your way back to this...

...once again.

And if you need food to eat, then plow under your coffee, chocolate and sugar cane plantations in western Africa and start growing rice (again). While your at it, stop putting corn in your car. You got plenty of food, you just don't use food as food.

That quote was made shortly after Climategate:

Quote:
BBC News - Q&A: Professor Phil Jones
B - Do you agree that from 1995 to the present there has been no statistically-significant global warming
Yes, but only just. I also calculated the trend for the period 1995 to 2009. This trend (0.12C per decade) is positive, but not significant at the 95% significance level. The positive trend is quite close to the significance level. Achieving statistical significance in scientific terms is much more likely for longer periods, and much less likely for shorter periods.

NOAA has great site for this, Graphs that go up:

Quote:
The mean sea level trend is 2.77 millimeters/year with a 95% confidence
interval of +/- 0.09 mm/yr based on monthly mean sea level data from
1856 to 2006 which is equivalent to a change of 0.91 feet in 100 years.

Graphs that go down:
Quote:
The mean sea level trend is -3.94 millimeters/year with a 95% confidence
interval of +/- 0.35 mm/yr based on monthly mean sea level data from
1889 to 2003 which is equivalent to a change of -1.29 feet in 100 years.

There is one absolute about any graph you view, they show a very steady and predictable rise or decline however long the data was collected.

You realize Phil Jones escaped criminal prosecution only because of a very short statute of limitations?
