If it fails, it helps the republicans. Those politicians you speak for aren't dumb. Failed economy for success has been the obvious mantra for almost three years now.

To repeat my earlier point, Obama's failures can be attributed to agreeing with republicans... the first stimulus involved more of the same... 2/3 of it tax cuts. And I disliked that then, as I dislike the idea of payroll cuts in this one.

Another way to look at it would a similar claim that his policies helped avoid worsening of the economy into another Great Depression.

Yes, as ridiculous as that is, it would be another way to look at it. Kinda like back in the days when doctors used to bleed patients to cure them.....

LOL! im kidding around. Im with you on this, but the left does seem to think mr. obama is really smart and therefore when he says the same thing others have (and they failed) this time because mr obama is really smart that same stuff is gonna work.
