Why should any group be held at 'their collective knees'?

When we're all on our collective feet, it will be easier to pull ourselves out of this mess.

While he didn't personally begin digging the hole (he had a part in it 'collectively' while he was in Congress) he DID cause the situation the get far worse with the GM robbery and the failed payoff (uh stimulus) to his crony socialists.

The righties have been fighting everthing tooth and nail since Obama became President. The tea party brought the whole country to its knees following the failed Bush policies and refusing to help get the country "off its knees". Now wait and see. Obama isn't going to play "negotiator" any more. And we are all very happy about it! By the way GM is back on its feet and its bills are paid, and the American car industry is alive and well....again ....thank you Mr. President.

Ford managed to do so without being nationalized. That's free market economics, that you capitalism.

GM still owes the American people billions of dollars. We will never see that money.

The repubs are gonna look rrreeeeaaaalllyyy bad if they do nothing, or worse yet, do the wrong things.

Glad to see the repubs between a rock and a hard place. That's what happens when people act like children.
I suggest you read my post I started about bills passed by the house for jobs that have been sitting in congress and growing dust. Maybe Dirty Harry Reid can help you out if you can't bring yourself to read that list of bills. Then get back to me on how the repubs have done nothing. I won't hold my breath.

No according to Obama's approval numbers the public see's him for what he is and doesn't like it one bit. Squealing about the tea party won't do anything but make even more roll their eyes in disgust and the endless blame game that the orator is running. When will he be held accountable for his actions? Ever? Not by you swooners that's for sure.

I like what you have said. But the ignorant will talk the economy, the thousands and thousands and thousands, of the unemployed, the housing crunch, and those who have lost their homes, businesses afraid to take chances and hire, and some businessess closing their doors, everything i can think of is higher in price, but some will dismiss it, and act as this is nothing.

Vote for Obama, if you want more of the same, most people i know who voted for him the first time around, will not.

Infact they say to me i liked him when i voted for him, but smart people make mistakes, won't the second time around.
