The protestors are representing the 99% that are not part of the 1%.
The problem is...are they actually representing anyone other than themselves?
You organize a mass, long-term protest...but you don't make any accommodations for sanitary needs. That's a pretty good demonstration of their near-total lack of preparation. And if they weren't prepared for this, doesn't it make you wonder what else might not have occurred to them? Sorry if it sounds like I'm shacking up with the 1%, but I don't want any of these "protesters" representing me.
The protestors are representing the 99% that are not part of the 1%. The 1% control the politics and wealth in the U.S.
Like it or not if you are not part of 1% you are the 99%. We are in this together. My guess is that everyone who is posting on this board is part of the 99%.
Speak for yourself. I'm not in anything with you and I'm not in your 1% or 99%.
A house in Kansas costs less than a new car. They cost more in the world.
Less than a very expensive new car. And the pay scale in Kansas is much closer to minimum wage. Not to mention the need for a car in rural areas where there isn't any public transportation. You do realize there are places that don't even have taxi-cabs, never mind buses.
Right. What a bunch of crap. Why not worry about what YOU can do to better yourself, rather than worrying about what everyone else does not does not have. Liberals will only be happy if we are all equal, even if that means that all of us are living in mud huts and burning dung for fuel.
Be a man and pull yourself by your own bootstraps rather than whining. That 99% is really a small group of far left loon radicals who like to beat drums, wear tie-dye, and protest. They are a bunch of bums who do not work and are far different than the majority of Americans. They are loons.
What is the difference between them and the corporate backed tea baggers
It seems to me that these are really pizz-off people and they want to be heard. From what I have heard and seen is that they come from all walks of life and political leanings. The corporate news are saying that this is the anti-teaparty, which is not actually true. What this movement is the anti-teabagger movement. This move does not have the financial backing as the teabaggers or the conservatives/democratic elite.

This is the peoiple saying enough is enough we want work to do. Idol hands are the devil's workshop.
An illustrated guide: The homes Kamp Alinsky Kids won’t protest
You knew it was coming. The Kamp Alinsky Kids are taking a sight-seeing tour today. After a month of trashing Zuccotti Park at a public cost of $2 million per day, the riff-raff is marching uptown to occupy…wealthy people’s private homes.
According to the NY Daily News: “A ‘Millionaires March’ will visit the homes – or, more realistically, the gleaming marble lobbies – of five of the city’s wealthiest residents, including News Corp. CEO Rupert Murdoch, JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon and conservative billionaire David Koch.”
Some millionaires and billionaires and their homes get protected, of course. Billionaire NYC Mayor Bloomberg, who refuses to crack down on protesters who have no permit to conduct the march, has a pass. Former Enron adviser Paul Krugman’s compound is off-limits. So is NY-based billionaire hedge fund mogul, Obama donor, and Dodd-Frank waiver beneficiary George Soros.
