I dunno guys I had a full-ride scholarship in undergrad plus my grad school paid a full stipend and I was baked out my gourd like half the time I was in college. It was pretty awesome and I didn't do anything to deserve it; I certainly never had to work hard. Some of these kids probably do work their butts off they deserve at least what I was lucky enough to have.

If the conservatives have their way and scrap Social Security and Medicare, you'll see what multi-generational families in America are all about.

I wasn't being whinny I was making fun of the protesters by making them see the real world from a working mans point of view. I am much better at it than you though.

Ok I have thought about it, now what. I think the protesters should be allowed to voice their opinion.

On to the "Free" Education for everyone folks .. Who do they expect to pay for this? NOTHING is free, even in a Socialist State.

I tend to agree there should should be College set up just like the regular public education system, two years of college IF you qualify upon graduating HS, BUT if you do not maintain a 2.0(that's a C) you can't remain a student, none of this 1.0 taking "basket weaving" classes crap.

Back in the 1800's they realized that an educated populace is good for everyone, remember "Rising tide raises all ships".

.......

You missed the demonstrations and parades where banners of Che, Ho Ch Minh, Mao, hammer and sickle were prominently displayed.

It wasn't out of love for America. Many of those loudmouthed assclowns hated capitalism back then.

I explained right there in my post what free in that context means. It is paid for by taxes, and that's fine with me.

Multi-generation households are not common at all. Have you ever lived in any German city?! Many households are composed of just one single person these days. There are few children and BECAUSE many people live in rented apartments - which by nature offer less space than an entire house - one family composed of parents and maybe 1 or 2 children at most is the standard.

Whatever their current tax rates are and whatever they are doing, they are doing fine, so the way they are running their country can't be so bad after all...
