The FBI said initial indications were that the incident did not appear to be terrorism related. The passenger's identity was not immediately released.
"The FBI continues to investigate, but initial indications are that there was no terrorist intent. This guy is a U.S. citizen," said FBI Special Agent Mark White in Dallas.
The religion of Islam has many aspects of sublime morality, but they are not absolutes. All manner of evil is excused if it advances the cause of Islam. That is why moralists can't quite understand Islamic piety. However, if Islam relies on the tools of evil to defeat evil, then the victors have become evil's replacement.
If you want to hear about damage to terrorists, cast your mind back to the attack on Glasgow airport a few years back.
We Scots don't take too kindly to things like that !
The guy had driven his Jeep, loaded with gasoline, and lpg bottles into the airport and set fire to it.
He was a pretty pathetic suicide bomber, because he got out of the car and ran away.
As he ran away, he was described in the media as being "on fire", and he was grabbed by a security guard and a number of bystanders, who proceeded to beat seven bells of crap out of him, while all the time he remained on fire !!
Now THAT'S an effective anti terrorism strategy !!

Darn, I'm disappointed. The crowd that flies Southwest in Phoenix and LA would have done some damage.

Using evil to defeat evil; isn't that what we've done? We were just after different goals.
Yes, some Muslims (and many other groups) do believe that in order to rid the world of greed, crime, broken families, and chaos they need to violently overthrow our system. Western countries could have set a better example to the world while it still had some moral high ground. Unfortunately, we let fear, power, and arrogance get the best of us.
I worry about the future of my kids everyday. Not just because of the threat of violence from this angry group or that angry group, but because they will have to work harder and harder to survive in an increasingly superficial, filth-filled, crowded, nihilistic world which is fighting growing religious extremism from Christians, Muslims, and Jews trying to bring back their version of sanity.
well he is right.......we are all temporal, and in fact this statement is fairly mundane and has no deep profundity. If he goes to the big house he should enroll in some courses
