The Tea Party Nation has posted a new pledge on it's website, asking small business owners to refuse to hire anyone until the nation has a "more business-friendly" government .

I know this sounds like a joke, but it's not. Remember, these are the same folks who wanted the US to default on its debt.

Can we arrest the Tea Party leaders for treason yet?

Soooo they are basically calling for small businesses to go on strike...

This concept of going on strikes should be familiar to all liberals and union members...

What's the big deal? Someone other then a liberal/union member is calling for a strike?

Yeah that's pretty unique...

They're stupid rednecks yet somehow you're dependent on them for a job? Strange.

Why does the tea party want Americans to be unemployed?

Well technically you could say the same for any boycott.

I actually think it's stupid but treason lol come on. You all are always championing stuff like this but now that it's your beloved government it's treason.

As if the Tea Party needs to lose anymore public credibility! I can just imagine a small contractor turning down business because it signed the pledge.

Last we heard, political dissent was the highest form of patriotism.

Wow, these guys are dangerously close to putting out the poisoned cool aid:
Call For A Strike of American Small Businesses Against The Movement for Global Socialism - Tea Party Nation (http://www.teapartynation.com/profiles/blogs/call-for-a-strike-of-american-small-businesses-against-the - broken link)

Quote:
I, an American small business owner, part of the class that produces the vast majority of real, wealth producing jobs in this country, hereby resolve that I will not hire a single person until this war against business and my country is stopped.

I hereby declare that my job creation potential is now ceased.

“I’m on strike!”
WIth this I'm convinced the TPE is a shill for big business; no sane businessman would ever sign onto this.

Funny, when some group other then a liberal or union group decides to go on strike people ask the strangest questions...
