If it weren't for the 1%, you naysayers could kiss the vast majority of those things that enrich your life good-bye.

If you want to be productively angry, why don't you direct your anger where it actually belongs and stop being so coveteous, greedy, and envious of other people's hard earned money?

It was the Federal government (the Obama Administration) and the Federal Reserve that bailed out Wall Street. Blame crony capitalism NOT real capitalism.

Real capitalism makes possible the dreams and ideas of those innovators who make life better for us all. I would venture to say that most of you would be loath to giving up your computers, your cell phones, your big screen TVs, your refrigerators, your cars, your clean water, your home--all the result of the capitalist system.

Put the blame where it belongs and stop coveting the well earned gains of those who supply this country with jobs and with those items that make life better.

Doesn't the bible also address your greedy jealousy also? I'm a pagan and even I know this.

Exodus 20:17 - “You shall not covet your neighbor's house; you shall not covet your neighbor's wife, or his male servant, or his female servant, or his ox, or his donkey, or anything that is your neighbor's.”

Well if you are a pagan, why do you worry about who is going to Hell?

Because there are more republicans who are christians than liberals. Because OWS is 80% liberal. Is this a serious question?

And you conveniently avoided answering my question. What does OWS have to do with Christianity?

Actually, that sounds more like the definition of the majority of the government teet suckers. Free housing, food, health care, spending $$.... all that they did not earn. Interesting stuff.

Question, do you consider yourself to be wealthy when the vast majority of the rest of the world doesn't enjoy the same luxuries that you likely do here in the US? Single family heated and air conditioned home, cars, cell phones, flat screen TV's, food on the table, computer, etc... You continue to castigate without realizing that you, too, are "rich". Relativity, my friend.

You would be in a better position to answer that question as I never mentioned the OWS movement in any of my posts on this thread. The question was irrelevant and off topic so I ignored it.

I don't know the percentage of liberals that are self described Christians. However, I do know that more Christians voted Democratic in the 2008 election than voted Republican.

Born Again Christians Favor Democratic Candidates, Says Survey, Christian News

However, I don't see how this has anything to do with the topic or is a subtle insult to Republicans.

Correct. Your original contention is that "rich people" will go to hell. You simply don't read the Bible and therefore have no understanding of the passages that promote a work ethic and living from the fruits of your own labor.

Liberals confuse government confiscation, in the form of socialism, with charity. They are entirely different and there is nothing in the Bible that supports government confiscation of assets and income to provide for others at their discretion.

You are talking about the 1%, which is a term popularized by OWS, so please stop avoiding the question.

Where did I say that I was worried?

Are you worried because a pagan seems to have a better grasp of bibilical concepts than a so-called Christian?

The 1% has been around a lot longer than OWS. I can't help that you have not heard of it before then. Do you need cites of articles about the 1% before OWS. There are literally thousands that mention the 1% with no mention of OWS. I can't answer a question that has no correlation. Here is an article for you about the 1% that has nothing to do with OWS.

Top 1 Percent of Americans Reaped Two-Thirds of Income Gains in Last Economic Expansion — Center on Budget and Policy Priorities

If you want to talk about Christianity and OWS, feel free to start a thread. I may even post on it, although I don't see it being that interesting. Surprise me.
