Occupy Wall Street -- located mere blocks from the World Trade Center, and consequently, the 9/11 memorial -- has defaced the memorial honoring the thousands who died there ten years ago. As a result of the recent violence, sexual assault, and vandalism, Manhattan's most elite squad of homocide detectives has been assigned to monitor the protesters camped in Zuccotti Park.

Okay, so some random blogger - Kate Hicks - on a conservative blog site attributing an act of vandalism to OWS protesters with absolutely no evidence whatsoever makes it true?
The majority of libs love those terrorist and will take the side of the terrorist and destroy any memorial. This is just normal behavior of loser thug types. They did the same thing in Wisconsin.
At one time they said killers like KSM had rights to lawyers and a trial the same as you and I but then their leader orders the killing of several others without a trial and that is different.
We need to put an end to these thug losers and get them out of our streets.
Obama needs to finally speak out and put an end to this disaster that he so loves.
He needs to finally be a leader instead of a divider and do something.
America has become a laughing stock around the world on Obamas watch and his community organizing days are still going strong.
This needs to end and someone needs to step up and put a stop to it.
If it turns out otherwise, will you be surprised? I mean really, in light of the hundreds of incidents of awful behavior on the part of OWS participants, is it unlikely that one or more of them would deface the 9/11 memorial?
To be fair, it isn't established that it was Occupy people who defaced the memorial.
Damn sure wasn't tea partiers.
This random blogger is blogging about a news story she read (and links to) over at Rupert Murdoch's conservative tabloid rag "The New York Post". That article doesn't begin to establish in the slightest, let alone even suggest, that anyone in the OWS movement defaced the memorial.
Here's the only part of the article that deals with the defacement:
"The detectives, who began working cases at the park two weeks ago, are also investigating two acts of vandalism on the 9/11 Memorial. In the first, a heart was etched near a name on the bronze memorial. Cops suspect the perpetrator may have been a family member of a victim. And last week, a drawing of a skull was found on the memorial. Both marks were removed."
That's it. That's the entirety of the reporting on the defacement, yet from that the blogger, as well as lifelongMOgal, proclaims that OWS defaced the 9/11 Memorial. If that's the standard of proof needed to make a claim here on this thread, then I'd like to proclaim, without evidence, that it was lifelongMogal who in fact defaced the 9/11 Memorial. What a shameful, indefensible act lifelongMOgal.

Riiight, a skull drawn on there with no date when it happened (but discovered last week) and no idea in hell who it was...and the author attributes it to OWS because, she just says so. Which was easily removed.
The other is a heart etched next to the name of one of the victims, as quoted by the police in the article "Cops suspect the perpetrator may have been a family member of a victim"...not some member of OWS written in the article. Darn, some one loved their family member...how awful.
This doesn't even pass the laugh test when the article in the OP doesn't even support it. Read the backup for what you post before doing it, because I've seen trolling better supported then this crap.
