How very odd.

So, is everyone almost prepped for the blowback and fallout from global thermonuclear war?
You missed a thread along the way. My comment about Cain and God was sarcasm.

The crisis/global thermonuclear war you speak of would come about if Israel took the bold move to attack Iran, dragging the US into it, with the possibility of Russia and China following, along with other nations.

My reference was made to Iran sitting and watching Israel.

1. We helped subsidize UK national defense for decades. I have no idea what the dollar amount comes to.

2. Israel's location alone makes it a different case altogether from the UK. It doesn't matter why Israel is prosperous and stable, it matters that they are head and shoulders above any other in the region. Is the UK head and shoulders above other EU countries in any metric? Nope.

I'm sick and tired of American lives being lost in "wars", all of which America has failed at miserably. Why do more Americans need to be sacrificed?

Apparently Netty is planning this attack in the summer. How timely. Could it be because most of our troops will have been withdrawn from the hellholes that they are currently in or have left and will be sent to fight FOR Israel? This is about Israel wanting to attack a country using American lives. I'm just so tired it.

It does matter. They would not be where they are without American support and financial aid.

maybe its time for Israel to evaluate their bank acct. Can they afford to lose our support? maybe its time for DC to cowboy up and remind Israel who needs who more.
As far as Israel being our onliest friend in the region. How did that work out on 911? Ask the survivors of the USS Liberty about our BFF.
How many Israeli spies have we caught so far?
Israel is like that friend of the family that takes liberties with your 15 yearold daughter, helps themselves to your petty cash and steals your stereo to sell for drug money. yeah they are the best friend ever.

Too bad there are plenty of undeserving civilians in the middle, but if Israel (the government) wants to stir up the pot of ****, they should be forced to taste it.
No chance in hell the United States will avoid another world war.

3) The only practical possibility is by firing missiles from submarines. Land launched missiles will be shot down by US anti missile defenses in the Gulf.

No if Isreal has something like the F/A-18 Growler to it could hit Iran but it would need to have one Arab state that would allow them to hfly and have some Hercules KC-130H there for air refuling allowed to stay in Saudi Air space for a while without being shot down then it is possible to do an air Raid.

F/A-18 Growlers will be able to accompany F/A-18s during all phases of an attack mission. In order to give the Growler more stable flight for the electronic warfare mission, Boeing changed the leading edge fairings and wing fold hinge fairings, and added wing fences and aileron "tripper strips".[2

The Growler has more than 90% in common with the standard Super Hornet, sharing airframe, Raytheon AN/APG-79 AESA radar and weapon systems such as the AN/AYK-22 Stores Management System. Most of the dedicated airborne electronic attack equipment is mounted in the space that used to house the internal 20 mm cannon and on the wingtips. Nine weapons stations remain free to provide for additional weapons or jamming pods.

The added electronics include AN/ALQ-218 wideband receivers on the wingtips, and ALQ-99 high and low-band tactical jamming pods. The ALQ-218 combined with the ALQ-99 form a full spectrum electronic warfare suite that is able to provide detection and jamming against all known surface-to-air threats.

The EA-18G can be fitted with up to five ALQ-99 jamming pods and will typically add two AIM-120 AMRAAM or AGM-88 HARM missiles. The EA-18G will also use the INCANS Interference Cancellation system that will allow voice communication while jamming enemy communications, a capability not available on the EA-6B.

In addition to the radar warning and jamming equipment the Growler possesses a communications receiver and jamming system that will provide suppression and electronic attack against airborne communication threats.
Do they have them at wall-mart yet ????????
