Then Obama and the dems should have eliminated them when they had the super majority or within the two years of total control.

Nice left wing source though.

No its not. The economy is growing at a few percentages a year, of which the federal government gets only a percentage of, while the debt is growing at TRILLIONS.

Lie. The Bush tax cuts GENERATED revenues to the federal government and that wasnt Obamas pledge. He said he would go LINE BY LINE through the federal budget and CUT.

Furthermore, he had COMPLETE CONTROl of government for YEARS, so dont go blaming the GOP because he was too incompetent.
He's not even close to doing this.

Agreed, and you seem to be content doing so. Low revenues are caused by THE RECESSION, not tax cuts, so why do you continue to support failed programs that wont help the recession while blaming policies which are intended to help?
You dont get a better example of the liberal mindset than this. Tax cuts are not a COST to the treasury,

They should have then, but they didn't. Now they are, but the GOP is blocking the tax increases we need to reduce our deficit.

You can call it a "left-wing" source, but that doesn't dispute the facts.

You are being dishonest to yourself and to us. The Dems never had a super-majority. There "super majority" required an independent (Joe Lieberman) who is really a Republican. It took months to seat Al Franken and Kennedy was on his death-bed, missing most votes.

But, if your argument is that Dems should have overcome Republican opposition, what does that say about the Republicans? Moreover, how can you argue that Obama didn't fulfill a promise and root for the Republicans whose objective was to stop him? it's like the highway robber who points a gun at your head and demands your wallet, while saying, "hand it over or you will be the murderer."

If you can't comprehend that lowering taxes on the rich means the Treasury gets less tax revenue, then you fail at basic math.

Bull. Democrats could have simply done NOTHING, and the Bush tax cuts would have expired. YOU are the one being dishonest because the extension wouldnt have happened without Democratic support. Hell, the Democrats needed to bring the bill to a vote, not the GOP

Or more likely you dont understand math at a higher level then elementary adding and subtracting because tax revenues to the Treasury is a % of the GDP regardless of the tax rates. Even when the rich had 90% tax rates the revenues were THE SAME as when they are 15%. I know you dont understand but thats your problem. Its been true for OVER 70 YEARS, so why dont you know this?

If you can remember back to December, the GOP ransomed benefits for the unemployed in return for extending the cuts on the rich. (we see where the GOP's bread is buttered.) Obama was given the choice by the GOP to either screw the unemployed or hold off on the tax-cuts expiring.
