That has nothing to do with homosexuality and everything to do with pedophilia.
If the molestation involved both boys and girls, it would be pedophillia. It doesn't! -- It only involves grown homosexual men with a penchant for boys. However, are you suggesting that homosexual behavior is somehow okay or thrown into a different category, when it is called something else?

First off, to reiterate what the other poster said, molesting little boys is pedophilia, not homosexuality. Secondly, Catholic priests molested a bunch of little girls too.

Sure, there's some homosexual tendencies involved, however, the homosexuality has nothing to do with the pedophilia.

As I type these words, the poll is split roughly 50/50. I wish we could know the average age of the two groups, my prediction is that the nays are noticeably older. Homophobia exists yet in our society, but slowly it's dying out. 30 years from now, society will look back on this controversy with a sense of shame and wonderment that we could have ever been so blinded by hate.
I think this is key. I saw a survey a few years ago already about whether gay marriage should be legalized. It was roughly split but when you broke it down by age, i think it was roughly 80% under the age of 30 felt it should be legalized. It's the older generation that is holding onto the old ways so, to be blunt, those people will die off eventually and a new majority will take hold.
I think this is why the parallel to civil rights is always made. It took some time but eventually they got it right. There are still bigots today about race as there will be about gays but the United States of all places should be making the strides for fairness and equality for all citizens.

Most pedophiles don't have an adult orientation, so they would not be homosexual. Those pedophiles who also have an adult orientation (regressed pedophiles) are overwhelmingly heterosexual. Stop posting lies.

Um, the gender of the child has nothing to do with it. Gay men are not attracted to the feminine, soft, hairless qualities of boys. Boys and girls at that age have very little differences. All studies show, the overwhelming majority of pedophiles, if they have an adult orientation (straight, gay, or bi) are straight.
Children should be taught to respect and accept homosexuals, just like everyone else. On the other hand, IMHO teaching children that homosexuality is normal and natural is WRONG.

I feel it is right to teach children that a lifelong marriage between one man and one woman which leads to children is normal and natural.
Anything else about relationships, I don't care to teach to them.
