However, in the latest study the authors claim the phenomenon is not only widespread but part of a necessary biological adaptation for the survival of the species.
Homosexuals existing in a population actually increases survival of the species, not hinders it.
That's why they are put to death in most African tribes and other civilisations too!
Why is this thread still going lol? Replace homosexual with "asian people" and bigots will be tolerant all of a sudden.
Doubt that, many hate for the emotional feelings they get. Many would fight on and those that left would ne replaced by other bigots. Bigotry is color blind in that they cam hate anyone, anywhere, anytime.
It's a good thing it's not the most common "condition" then. Homosexuality is still both normal and natural though.

There are many norms. Homosexuality is one. It's normal in the same way left-handedness is normal, or black skin is normal, or red hair is normal, or a man being 6'3'' is normal, or being attracted to fat chicks is normal, etc.

You're splitting hairs here and being ridiculous Freckles are normal as is red hair and being left handed or over 6ft tall or black or yellow or any other colour but two men buggering each other is definately not normal. Some believe that humans are naturally bisexual. That each and every one of us are born with the potential to be attracted to both sexes. It is only pressurees from society, religious teaching included, that keep many from "sampling" both sexes.
Most of nearest relatives, the apes, display bisexuality on a regular basis. Natural. One this they don't display is religion, UNNATURAL.
Fact is the is only one animal in the animal kingdom that displays religious rituals and beliefs. Man. VERY UNNATURAL.
