It would be a lie to teach them that it is natural, when it is not. At the same time it is important to teach them to not hate gays or anyone else just because they are not normal.
I don't teach my children to hate religious zealots, even though they are not 'normal'. However I do encourage them to discover how religious zealotry and blind ignorance can be harmful to others.
It doesn't occur in nature...that is they bile the pro-gay medical professional pushes, based on a FEW incidents of same gender foreplay and FAKE mating that doesn't actually involve penetration.
You know, like adolescent male horses group together in bands and sometimes mount each other...no penetration. Same with canines.
I'm in my mid-fifties and was priveleged to know gays before the "PC" movement existed. I know the truth, have had a regionally, well-known gay as a best friend, and known his family and the true story of his, too. He now talks as if he thinks he was "born gay" but being best buds, I know that he claimed for many years to have "turned gay at age 5."
Having known many gay people since childhood myself, I can pretty much assure you he meant "I realized I was gay at age 5." We barely even retain memories before age 4-ish, so how on earth could he remember what his orientation was AT BIRTH? He didn't suddenly turn gay, just as you & I didn't turn straight at any point either - we merely gained sexual awareness at a certain age, which differs depending on the individual.
