I'm not against to empowering people. I'm against people who provide lip service to that effect and claim makes as being the savior. I call them out, as I'm right now. And I don't need to send you PMs to that effect. Since you're into these kind of arguments, why not just go about it in public on a public forum?

Now, going back to my question, which you still haven't answered:

"How do you plan to exercise your right to travel if the government has the power to limit or eliminate the medium you must use to exercise that right?"

If medium to exercise a right is merely a privilege, you've already surrendered the idea of "empowering people". It is like saying... you've the freedom to speech, but it is okay for the government to regulate the internet (a medium) as a privilege.

I have answered your question multiple times. Just because you don't like my answer doesn't mean you can claim I didn't answer it. You do have the freedom of speech, but the government does regulate mediums. As I said before, you cannot say or express yourself in whatever medium you want, no matter what. Your privilege to use specific mediums can be revoked if your action would harm another person (such as your privilege to drive - if you are deemed an unsafe driver, that privilege can be revoked for the safety of others). Now that I have answered your question a half a dozen times in this thread, please show me the same respect and answer mine.

You are against empowering people! You would rather tell a person to blame a corporation or 'the rich' than tell them to work harder, pick themselves up and make something of themselves. You would rather tell a person to sit back on their a** and collect a check from the government than put in the 90 hour work weeks that are sometimes needed to pull yourself through hard times. Your entire attitude screams that you don't want people to help themselves.

What about what I have said is lip service? I have not said a single thing on this thread that I have not held myself personally up to in my life. The fact that you think an attitude like mine (I actually WANT to take care of myself) can't be anything but lip service tells me a lot about you.
