Obama is the Hugo Chavez of North America.

You can't name one socialist leader who has seen a drop in wholesale food and energy prices. (Jimmy Carter came close)

It has never happened.

You honestly believe this isn't a bias piece? When GWB Jr. entered into office, the price of gase was $125, I know, I got my first new car that year. And remember it got as high as $5.00 in some area's over GWB. We haven't gotten that high, Thankfully since then. Is this piece trying to blame the President for gas prices? I'm trying to understand the mindset.

Have you read and done research as to the MANY factors as to why this is, or is this a blanket blame obama thread?

Average gas price tops $4 a gallon for the first time-AAA - Jun. 8, 2008

Funny how this "objective" study () forgot to include the data point of gas being roughly $4.00 per gallon in June 2008.

This thread is just so rich. I mean remember when gas prices were so high under the Bush administration but, back then, it could NEVER be a president's fault. Now, it's all his fault. And these stupid biased articles can't even get the facts right.

I can't wait to spend my next moments of free time investigating their lies on bread prices.

I'm trying to undestand that as well. Also why did gas finally go down the end of GWB term and why it began going back up again once the administration changed.

Speculators pushed it up creating a bubble for a short time under Bush... we have been in high oil prices too long and Obama pushes his green agenda and we all know it.

Funny how Bush was blamed ad nauseam for the exact same issues by many people who now give Obama a free pass.......

Huh? what short time, Oil prices steadily went up from 2005 to early 2008 before it starting going down. Are you serious? It wasn't until 2007 that I stopped putting premium in my car because gas prices went above $2.75, when it hit $3 I started working from home 2 days a week in late 2007. So its Obama's fault gas prices are going up because of green energy? I thought the excuse was first the conflict in Egypt, no Iran, no Iraq. Make up your minds already. When the prices go up its Obama's fault, but he had nothing to do with it when it goes down. Same line different day.

No the blame was why didn't he tap into the reserves, well Obama did that and it only bought the prices down for a minute so even that didn't work. No one gets a pass when prices goes up, not even the Oil companies that are receiving tax payer subsidies that both the Dems and Repub refuse to get rid of.
