LOL...yea, that's the real question. But i thought i'd cut some slack.
But you and i both know the deal without even going into a long spiel about it. Of course, dude aint about to 'fess up regardless because he doesn't think we see through his little charade.
What about non-"biracial" blacks who are more than 50% white European per DNA? There are more of those whose families have been black for centuries than there are who fit the strict criteria championed by you and those who claim people like Obama aren't black.
What about them? They may not be biracial, but they are "mixed."
Besides, regardless of how you twist and turn it--the fact remains--his mother is white and his father is black. He isn't "historically mixed", he didn't grow up in South Africa or rural Mississippi. All of these hypotheticals and "what ifs" are simply a distraction from where he really came from--a mutually agreed upon, union between a white woman and a black man conceived in Hawaii. Why try to avoid that fact by talking in hyperboles or cherry picking historical events?
Fine. Glad you said that. Which begs the next question....
Why weren't whites so concerned about this issue in lets say....1940?
Is it 1940? lol Why not deal with TODAY? lol
Yall keep going back to rural Alabama, Confederate flag waving "segration now, segration forever" circumstances because if you go by today's rules--the historical argument falls flat.

Exactly. So should we now have a "colored" class like during Apartheid just to appease all of you who now want the black population to split itself up due to blood quantum? Assimilados, maybe, as it was in the Portuguese Empire? These folks have always been black, but now the white population wants to include them? Bizarre.....

I never cherry picked anything. I always said Obama was the product of a white mom and a black dad - a (by American standards) black guy with a white mom. You're the one who started the argument challenging it.
It's weird when the pale skinned black person - who looks as white as some olive skinned whites - demands that they are black...If you notice - take a black person and put them in a temperate climate - give it a few generations - and they slowly turn white - so if the sun goes out - we will all be white - There should be no white pride...nor should their be black pride - as KING said..a person will be judged by the content of their character - and bad character blackens the soul of all.

How so? When did the rules change? I never got the memo.

No it's not 1940...which is kinda my point.
Why this GREAT LEAP in progressive thinking on race all of a sudden since 2008? Why wasn't this great leap on this topic made between the years of 1940 and 2008? Or between 1865 and 2008....you know....i'll give it even more cushion.
But between 2008 and 2012, all of a sudden certain whitefolks have had this great enlightenment on racial matters....wanting to embrace all the mullatos of the world and claim them as their own.
LOL....come on. The game is up. No one is being fooled here.

What's bizzare about it? The world and the circumstances that produce these children are not the same as they were in slavery times lol.
How hard is that to understand?
If Frederick Douglass were born today--yes--he would be considered biracial. He was born a slave sometime in the early 18th century, where in those times, multattoes still occupied apart of the slave class by default.

By "cherry picked" I'm referring to the consant historical hypotheticals (i.e. you're taking historical norms and applying them to the standards of today.")
And calling him a"black guy" with a white mom is simply inaccurate or no more accurate than calling him a "white guy with a black dad." The man is biracal. Like it or not he is not the first "black president" lol. We know there's a lot of invested pride there, but some of you are really kidding yourselves.

Why does it have to blacken the soul? That's RACIST!!! I demand a retraction!
