In other words, you have no idea what you are talking about, but are just flinging out silly guesses and hoping someone believes you.

Well, If you didn't have your doubts then you wouldn't be on here trolling would you. Why else would there be 2 British documentaries?

I find it especially entertaining when the conspiracy kooks try to tell me that *I* have doubts.

They're so cute when they do that....

From the looks of this and many other threads, City Data seems to be a popular gathering spot for more that it's fair share of those with a very childish nature, and propensity for anti-intellectual rhetoric.

Many of the responses here show that few, if any, actually watched the documentary, since a number of the rhetorical questions were indeed addressed in the film. And I find that behavior inexplicable. Why are so many people so psychologically married to stories accepted as truths, and so predisposed to automatically dismiss new information? It makes no sense to me, but more importantly, it indicates a mindset that just has no interest in learning and discovering.

Now, I don't know if the speculation and theory presented film is true or not, but some of the issues presented are absolutely intriguing, and thought provoking, while one issue is striking and extremely fascinating ...that the names of White Star Line ships were traditionally engraved in the upper bow hull plates in 4 foot letters, the sunken vessel identified as the Titanic was discovered to have iron letters riveted to that hull plating, rather than engraved letters.

That's not so compelling by itself, except that after many decades of corrosion and decay, two of those letters have fallen off, and what appears to be visible in the space underneath those missing letters are the engraved letters, M and P.

In lieu of a reasonable and rational explanation, I would say that single bit of evidence strongly supports the theory presented.

And, immature comments are no substitute for reason or rational explanation.

Interesting theory. Not sure why some are so ready to dismiss... Why is the M and P on the nameplate of the ship on the sea floor if this isn't true? Why are the structural details not consistent to the titanic?

I would not be surprised at all that this is true. Perhaps they will actually be able to count the number of port holes on the upper decks of the sunk ship or find some other facts about the original Olympic.

I would put nothing beneath JP Morgan... remember this is the man that took an add out in the NY times saying a competitor was insolvent and created a run on the bank so he could buy it at pennies on the dollar..... not unlike what happened recently....makes ya wonder.
