Over 90% of Catholic women use birth control, I guess they will be joining me in hell.

As for the sex change surgery, hell no insurance companies shouldn't cover it or be forced too.

Hence the problem with insurance companies--exclusionary behavior. The church is completely irrelevant to the discussion. It's a debate between government and insurance providers.

The church is sticking its fat foot into a place it doesn't belong.

Get rid of the laws that link health insurance to job or school. Why shouldn't we be able to shop around for health insurance just as we do car insurance or homeowner's insurance?

The government is sticking its fat foot into a place it doesn't belong.

What kind of deflection post is this one? I guess it is a good one in that it says not one word about the OP or its link. Good deflection says Old Saul.

I checked the story your link mentions and sure enough Google had one after another example of that story. That oh so nice young lady had been involved in some outstanding writing about LGBT writing with another student. I am wondering more every day just who supports a woman of 30 who is still in law school. I wonder how she makes her money other than taking money from people like Nancy Pelosi to do her dirty work for her.

Most people don't. Religion is a personal choice and a particular religions dogma isn't something that the general public shouldn't have to worry about unless they choose to follow it. Nobody can claim true faith if they have to have it written into secular law. The reason some things are being covered for "free" (not free, just free of copay) is that it's best for society and cheaper all around. Giving something to someone for "free" actually saves money if that's what you are concerned about. You, me, the insurance companies and the government. Even Catholics.

It's not public policy. It is freedom of religion. The public is free to do what they want. The church simply doesn't want to pay for it.

The state IS NOT demanding anyone whose church belives contraception is a sin should use it, merely attempting to prevent insurance companies from hiding behind the veil of religion in denying coverage.

Who was asking for free birth control?

Looks like another made up topic (no basis in fact).
