I'm not sure what you're talking about: I hate kids and don't have any. But, I shouldn't be surprised some conservative is spouting more unrealistic, ignorant, and/or uninformed opinions. Of course people shouldn't "leech" the system, but there will always be poor people. There will always be classes, and there will always be someone who needs help. You can't do anything about it.
I know it hurts having to pay for other people's traffic lights and medicine, but welcome to the social contract.
Isn't that actually the Republicans' battle cry? Seems to be the case, since they scream "what about the children?!" whenever the issues of gay marriage/equality, marijuana legalization, birth control access, abortion, etc, come up in discussions.
When a leftie cannot defeat the argument, it ALWAYS ends with "It's for the children!"
Nope.
Sometimes it's "Republicans do it too!"
(see Post #2 in this thread)
Or sometimes "Tax cuts for the rich!" - hoping you don't remember that the upper 50% of earners pay 95% of the income taxes, so the only tax cuts you CAN have are "for the rich", by their own definition.

What social contract? None of that is in the US Constitution.
Haha. Well I can't think of anyone, left, right, up or down, who doesn't think of the children in one way or another.
