I guess there are no Asians or Europeans either. We are all African if you believe the anthropologists.

Of course not. There's nothing to think about. You can tell the difference between someone that emigrated here, and their westernized children. It's culture and society that determine how we are, not race. Why is this so hard for people to understand?

I consider myself to be a North American because I live here. Ancestry is for the ancestors. Be who you are and don't worry about what the rest call you.

Out of Africa is one theory, multiregionalism is the other.

Fail! Even they migrated across the Bering Strait. No one is truly native to this country unless they were born here.

Unless Indians or East Asians become a numerical majority in the US, unfortunately I think they will ALWAYS be suspect and not seen as being "real" Americans...

I love reading these comments; (chuckle) you people sound just like the people I know @ the homeless shelter. Everyone of those people are experts! On virtually any subject..

Now for the simple truth

Point Hope Alaska is the oldest, continually inhabited settlement or village in All of North America. These people have a documented history of over 3,000 years in this one tiny spot of land. Elders claim to have settled here 15,000 years ago. Located 200 miles above the arctic circle in the northwest portion of the state of Alaska.

In the 1800's Their costal population was 325,000 natives. Then the yankee whaling compaines arrived. The population was reduced to just 1,200 people.

Those are the original Natives !! Most all villages in Alaska were founded by People from Point Hope - Greenland was founded by the same people.

Can you prove that? Having over 99 out of 100 people dying sounds far fetched. Even the Nazis left more Jews alive and the Nazis were TRYING to catch and kill them all.
