How interesting. I once tried to track some of those e-mails I get from right-leaning friends which tell blatant lies about Obama back to their source and many of them ended up at a proxy server in Scottsdale, AZ.

I wonder if I could use this law to force the proxy server to reveal who's creating that crap sending it out?

If I were the only one receiving them? Yes, that would be the answer.

But, I'm not. Millions get them and millions forward them on without bothering to verify the "facts" contained in them or, worse, knowing it's lies but believing it's alright to tell lies about Obama. The cumulative effect is to poison our system of government and to create a hatred which threatens our liberty.

Just deleting them would be a failure in my duty as a citizen.
