Looks like the governor hasn't actually signed it yet. Fingers crossed that she'll veto. I like Jan Brewer, I have faith in her.

Progressive ideas, are the cancer that ruined America for freedom.

Controlling people thoughts and actions, on the way to a more powerful state over the people, when this nation was founded for the people over the state.

Where have we gone astray?

People trying and forcing to tell other people what they must do, or pay the price.

I think implying the term progressive with censorship is an oxymoron. Case in point: ACLU.

I get what you are saying though.

That Progressive cancer, is the element in the Republican party, that makes the two parties we get to choose from, so we can boast we are part of a team in a competitive sport, are the freak'n same team!

Look, the first amendment is not there to talk about the weather. It is there to discuss very controversial subjects, without punishment by the State to silence the people.

Arizona Passes Sweeping Internet Censorship Bill

So long 1st amendment, get in the shredder with the 2nd, 4th, 5th and 10th amendments!!!
Just a point of information, even though Arizona thinks they can pass laws that are not within their jurisdiction it does not mean they can enforce them or uphold them in a court. Controlling the Internet, good luck with that, if it could be done several countries in the middle-east would have already done it. Sooner or later the People of Arizona are going to figure out that their leaders are making them the laughing stock of America and they will get rid of them and replace them with people that have not gone off the deep end.

As nutty as i think the whole Conservative movement is, i'm loathe to judge the whole movement based on these ultra-nutty Republicans in my homestate of Arizona. Even by normal mental nutcase standards, these fools are extraordinary.

Many states can already do this sort of thing in another way. Google "disorderly conduct".

Post News, Arizona bill could criminalize Internet trolling.

Arizona marches to the beat of its own drummer. But if that drummer gets upset and starts hollering on the Internet, he might get tossed in the clink.

After spending years targeting illegal aliens, the Grand Canyon State is turning its sights on obnoxious Internet users (commonly called 'trolls'). A new update to the state's telecommunications harassment bill could make the practice of harassing people online illegal.
