Funny, Christians in America tend to be conservative, and the conservatives are always posting this macho bs. hurling insults like drunk frat boys.

Kind of funny that the true God-fearing religious conservatives would be the nastiest and most intolerant to their fellow citizens, but so it is in the US of A. I would call them Pharisees, but they are not hypocrites, because they don't even try to be nice or remotely kind. It is all about fingerpointing and hostility and sucking up to the economically powerful. Precisely the opposite of Jesus' teachings.

The rantings of the Christian right are enough to make me an atheist.

Good for them! For those who oppose immigration into the United States, I have but one query for you. To which Indian tribes do you all belong?

Unfortunately, they have been brainwashed by today's PC world.

A true Christian shouldn't even be able to hate or disparage those kinds of people, the ones the right are up in arms over. Instead, a truly loving Christian should defend them from attacks from anybody, especially those claiming to be "christian's" and hiding behind the "love the sinner, hate the sin" rhetoric.

It is only by doing so that a true Christian will be in a position to preach the Gospel to the lost. It's very difficult to tell those "unworthy" people about the Love of Christ after having condemned them and consigned them to the outer darkness of society.
A true Christian would have respect for the rule of law. There is nothing unjust about our immigration laws. A true Christian would not put illegal aliens above the needs and well-being of our own citizens.

Christians can be liberal, conservative, middle-of-the-road or completely apolitical. One thing you don't see much of is an atheist conservative, although they do exist.

It is a poll of European Christians. If they conducted it here I imagine there results would be much different.

What a load of crap.

"Loving" others does not mean wholesale acceptance of those people, nor does it mean condoning their every activity. I can "love" the sinner, but hate the sin. That doesn't mean they deserve assistance or sympathy from those of us who "love" America and believe it is our rightful duty to ensure that those we "love" don't send this nation over a cliff.

I agree. Unfortunately all religions have people who perverse teachings to suit their own agenda, and they are the ones who get the spotlight.
